The problem also includes the students lost their motivation to communicate in English language, in online learning setting particularly. Through literature, it is found that the implementation of feedback provision and the utilization of learning analytics are regarded as one of the effective ways in improving students’ written communication skills and motivation to communicate in online learning setting. However, very limited studies focusing on such area are found in language education. As a result, it is necessary to propose a conceptual framework of implementation of both feedback provision and learning analytics in language education context to improve English communication skills in online learning. Therefore, this study is intended to provide a conceptual framework on improving English communication skills in online learning through the utilization of feedback provision and learning analytics. This could serve as a roadmap for future research into this topic.
