The empirical part is based on a quantitative study carried out at the exit of the lockdown. Abstract

On March 17th, 2020, the entire French population was confined to cope with the covid-19 epidemic. As part of business continuity plans, companies organized a form of forced, full-time teleworking for their employees. This unprecedented situation is a form of unstructured teleworking which involved 5 millions of employees. The objective of this contribution is to determine the role of benevolence in the evolution of the managerial relationship in teleworking during periods of lockdown and its influence on psychosocial risks. The empirical part is based on a quantitative study carried out at the exit of the lockdown. The main argument of this article is that a benevolent attitude has a lasting influence on the managerial relationship and helps develop a positive perception of teleworking and reduce psychosocial risks.
