Abstract

The monograph under review examines the pages of life and political activities of Helmut Kohl, the Chancellor of German unity. The source base of the book includes materials from Russian and German archives, documentary collections, memoirs, and publications on the subject under research. Thanks to this, the author was able to show that the solution of the German question was possible not only due to the external and internal factors but also due to the political will of Helmut Kohl.
