Abstract

Given the preference of students to access information using web technologies instead of traditional teaching methods, the paper presents a virtual lab that can be useful to understand some electromagnetic phenomena. The lab deals with magnetic materials, superconductors and an experimental model of magnetic suspension using superconductors. Accessing the website the students can acquire theoretical information about the subject can perform experimental work and can test their acquired knowledge.
