Abstract

Zinc oxide nanowires were grown by the hydrothermal method on nanocomposite layers of zinc oxide and silicon dioxide prepared by the sol-gel method with different composition. The morphology of samples and seed layers were studied by scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy.
