Comparative study of the level of awareness of e-waste management in Romania and Republic of Moldova

Abstract

The paper focuses on the management of the e-waste and, based on a comparative analysis of the level of awareness of the danger of the improper disposal of them, in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The collection of data for the study was based on a distribution of a survey with 19 questions in both countries with 202 and 27 questionnaires in Romania and Republic of Moldova respectively. The results of the study show that the awareness of both countries is critically low, with the problem being more stringent in the Republic of Moldovan.
