By the analysis of the time of arrival of acoustic wave to the integrated sensor the place of the bang is localized. Abstract

New approach to the localization of the nature and the size of damage of the ship body plating is considered in the paper. The approach is based on the analysis of acoustic wave’s parameters, which are propagated upon the plating of the ship body after the outer bang on the plating with foreign object. The system consists of the series of integrated sensors and the control unit. These elements are connected by the high-productive digital bus.
