The demo-economic effects of Germany's migration

Abstract

The latest statistics show that Germany continues to be the main destination country for migration and has become significantly more attractive in comparison to other European states in recent years. Its attractiveness can be defined by the country's level of development, with the German economy ranking first in Europe and the fifth largest in the world in terms of Purchasing Power Parity. Migrants make an important contribution to its social and economic development, therefore we can find two opposite poles of the German migration process: the advantageous and the disadvantageous. First of all, this article will bring more clarity regarding the migration of the German state the migration process, seen largely from the perspective of immigration, its migration flows, and most importantly I will illustrate in depth the demo- economic effects of this process. I will also analyze the aspects of German migration as an immigration state, using comparative and statistical analysis.
