Abstract

The study objective is to develop a technique for hardening die steels with a glow discharge in a cathode magnetic field. The task to which the paper is devoted is to find out how the treatment by glow discharge in a cathode magnetic field affects microhardness and wear resistance. Research methods are pilot industrial tests.
