Abstract

This paper investigates the capability of a miniaturized radar sensor developed for mini Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Micro Aerial Vehicles (MAVs) to provide the flying platform with radar-based navigation and sense-and-avoid (SAA) functions.
