Abstract

At present, there are many ocean observatory networks worldwide, which produce Terabytes of data every year. The challenge is for the organization to exploit those data. Download all the data on a personal computer to get further process is not very effective. Service-Oriented Architecture based Seafloor Observatory Network provides a platform for developers, most of who are scientists, to develop a variety of applications that deal with the observatory data.
