Abstract

The article discusses the solvers "optim", "fminsearch" and "nmplot" included in the library functions of the Scilab mathematical package from the point of view of speed and laboriousness of their application in solving optimization problems using examples of Rosenbrock functions of various orders. Examples of using the described solvers in the calculation of electrical circuits and filter modeling are given. A conclusion is drawn on reducing the time spent finding a solution to an optimization problem using the described software product. Recommendations are given on the use of a software package for solving optimization problems for research purposes and for applied areas of science or production..
