Abstract

The frequency selective surface (FSS) is designed to improve the wide-band stealth performance of radar absorbing materials (RAM) at the frequency range from 2GHz to 12GHz. The FSS element structure is designed for thin RAM coating, and the electromagnetic wave reflectivity performance of RAM containing FSS is analyzed by using the numerical simulation.
