Abstract

In this paper the concept of statistical filtering is implemented for point cloud image analysis and 3D usergenerated data. The entire implementation is carried out using free software and the programming language C++ on self-generated examples of works of art from Ervin Wurm’s exhibition “One minute forever” held in Belgrade in 2022. The evaluation results point out the importance of statistical filtering and the improvement of quality that it brings, both from the objective and visual aspect, as well as from the aspect of the point cloud image structure itself.
