Based on the calculations, an experimental prototype of a transformer with a hybrid magnetic core was developed. Abstract

The paper presents studies of a transformer with a hybrid magnetic core to increase the efficiency of an aircraft transformer-rectifier unit. The hybrid magnetic core consists of an amorphous magnetic material and precision magnetic soft alloy.
