Quantitative study of reliable communication infrastructure in smart grid NAN

Abstract

In smart grid communications, neighborhood area network (NAN) lies in one of the most important sections. Reliability in NAN plays a critical role in providing assured services. In this extended abstract, we investigate the reliability aspects of communication infrastructure in NAN. We also provide quantitative analysis study on the related reliability issues of the communication infrastructure.
