Abstract
The joint NASA-Roscosmos Flame Design (Adamant) spaceflight experiment [1, 2] is one of six International Space Station (ISS) investigations which are currently part of the Advanced Combustion via Microgravity Experiments (ACME) project. It is developed by the U.S. science team including R. L. Axelbaum of Washington University in St. Louis, P. B. Sunderland of the University of Maryland, and D. L. Urban of the NASA Glenn Research Center. The experiment is conducted in collaboration with N. N. Semenov Federal Research Center for Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (S. M.
