Terminal emulation is used in protocol tests, which improves the reliability of protocol tests while reducing costs. In the paper, terminal emulation is studied through researching and summarizing various PTTE-IoT terminal business behaviors and network characteristics. A terminal emulation scheme is realized, in which more than 50 terminals of multiple types can be emulated while the validity of test results is improved. The scheme is deployed in over 25 protocol conformance test cases, which verified the effectiveness of the scheme.
