Abstract

The article discusses issues related to the concept of «speech culture» at the present stage of society development, as well as the positive and negative aspects of the averbal type of thinking of non-philologists students; the neces- sity of implementing cognitive and communicative aspects of speech culture in practical classes is substantiated. Special attention is paid to working with the concept in the verbal flow, which allows you to produce and perceive a thought accurately, allowing constructive reflection to manifest itself. The influence of clip thinking, which displaces conceptual thinking, on language, speech, consciousness, thinking, production and perception of text is described.
