Abstract

The analysis and study of the features of the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic in European countries are performed. The study is based on the territorial unevenness of the localization of the disease, the increased walking and driving mobility of people, the decreased level of social discipline of the population of different countries and other factors. The regularities of the cyclical occurrence of pandemics of infectious diseases were studied using the cases of swine flu, Ebola and COVID-19 (which occurred over the past 12 years) and their impact on the development of the world economy and global society. The negative consequences of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy and international business are analyzed.
