Chris Huang: Bringing his experience to Purdue University Fort Wayne

Abstract

When Chris Huang took his first job as registrar in 2006, he didn’t know what he didn’t know. He had worked in admissions, so he did understand much of how a college operates. And he thought his lack of experience was in some ways a benefit; it would allow him to attack the wide variety of registrar tasks with a fresh look, instead of defaulting to operating the way it had always been done.
