Abstract

Food safety is an importance to consumers. Firms disclose information about transparent food manufacturing, such as composition, process, expiration date, and so on. This study focuses on traceability and corporate marketing and services. This has a key impact on consumer learning. The research design uses questionnaire survey. The results show that the traceability allows consumers to learn about the benefits of product knowledge and information to meet the needs of the information as a marketing strategy. Between the upstream and downstream manufacturers, companies must continue to develop traceability system in order to establish sustainable competitiveness. Therefore, the use of traceability is a good marketing strategy. This approach allows consumers to get the best consumer information and learning.
