Findings showed that business studies equipment needed for effective teaching and learning of business studies are mostly not available, the available ones are grossly inadequate in most schools. Gender has no significant effect in the respondents mean ratings on the adequacy of equipment for teaching of business studies. The researcher concludes that students will acquire more theoretical knowledge than the practical skills required of them since the equipment that will be used for hands-on experience are not available. Based on the findings and conclusion, it is recommended, among others, that the state government should make provision for the supply of business studies equipment to the schools. Abstract
