Significant differences can be found between regions. Abstract

Government funding is a meaningful way to invest in educational resources. And ordinary colleges and universities account for a considerable proportion of educational funding. Based on the DEA model and the Malmquist index method, this paper analyzes the static and dynamic changes of ordinary colleges and universities’ funding efficiency in China from 2009 to 2017. According to the studies, the validity of funding input in ordinary colleges and universities in China is generally low, greatly affected by the pure technology's validity. Significant differences can be found between regions.
