The experiment in this contribution concentrates on measurement of shielding effectiveness and reflection of the electromagnetic field. Measured object was concrete wall 120 mm thickness composed of cement and water. Abstract

Electromagnetic shielding has been enjoying greater attention recently. On one side, it is due to the electromagnetic compatibility of electric and electronic devices. On the other, it is because of the electromagnetic effect on living organisms, a human being included. We are constantly exposed to the electromagnetic field which is why it is important to raise this issue.
