ANALISIS PESAN DALAM FILM PEREMPUAN BERKALUNG SORBAN; PERSPEKTIF GENDER

Abstract

Gender is a culture that is developed in the society that set up the way of life among men and women who sometimes cause inequality and injustice. The film of Perempuan Berkalung Sorban tells about a women struggle to achieve the gender equality in social status, education and acquire the authority and opportunities as a man. The women struggle in maintaining the gender equality is caused by many discrimination that are received from men unfairly. The discrimination is received by a woman in a boarding school environment that is interpreted verbally.
