Abstract

Objectives

To determine whether the concentration of pepsin in the saliva sample changes according to the storage period of the sample.

Methods

Forty eight patients with suspected laryngopharyngeal reflux were included in this study. Saliva samples were collected from each patient and each sample divided into six and stored for different period of time. Pepsin concentration was measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results
