A 46-day-old girl was admitted to hospital with a 10-day history of fever and cough. She had pneumonia and liver dysfunction owing to infection by <i>R. radiobacter</i>. After 3 days of treatment with ceftriaxone, (compound glycyrrhizin and ambroxol), her body temperature returned to normal and the pneumonia improved, but liver enzyme levels continued to rise.
