Since its inception in September 1984, Chinese Journal of Health Statistics (bimonthly) has become the only academic journal and Chinese core journal in the field of health statistics in China. Supervised by the National Health and Wellness Commission and organised by the China Society for Health Information and Big Data in Healthcare and China Medical University, the journal is a core journal of China's source of science and technology dissertation statistics and a core journal of the China Science Citation Database (CSCD), and it is also included in the Q1 zone of the China Knowledge Network (CNKI). The journal has been selected in several high-quality scientific and technical journals classification catalogues, and has been awarded as China's outstanding academic journal and China's high-quality scientific and technical journal.
