Pasado y Memoria is aimed at historians and social scientists specialised in Contemporary History. The journal intends to encourage communication in the field of analysis and interpretation of historical events and processes in the contemporary world. It is precisely within the definition of this field of study that the sense of this journal’s title lies: the past (pasado) is the sphere studied by history while memory (memoria) is one of the factors that constitute our knowledge about the recent past.
