"Cereal, Oil and Food Science and Technology" (ISSN 1007-7561; CN 11-3863/TS) was originally named "Research and Design" and is a publication of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce. It was founded in 1991. In September 1993, with the approval of the State Science and Technology Commission, the Press and Publication Administration, and the Ministry of Domestic Trade, it was renamed "Business Technology and Development" and officially published and distributed, sponsored by the Research Institute of the Ministry of Domestic Trade. In August 1997, with the approval of relevant ministries and commissions, the expanded edition of "Business Technology and Development" adopted the international standard format, changed from a quarterly to a bimonthly, and the name was changed to "Cereal, Oil and Food Science and Technology".
At present, this journal is under the supervision of the State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves and sponsored by the Research Institute of the State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves. This journal adheres to the publishing concept of "delivering scientific and technological agility and shouldering the heavy responsibility of national grain" and has achieved a series of excellent results in the nearly 30 years since its founding.
