Ion Exchange and Adsorption was founded in 1985 by the Institute of Polymer Chemistry of Nankai University and the Chemical Plant of Nankai University. It was established with the approval of Nankai University and Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, sponsored by Nankai University and supervised by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is a bimonthly journal with columns such as research papers, monographs and reviews, and research briefs. It aims to reflect the progress and trends of ion exchangers, adsorbents, polymer catalysts, polymer reagents, medical polymer materials and other functional polymer materials in scientific research, production, application and applied basic research at home and abroad.
