Second, a mediating role of depression and a moderating role of SC in the research model was discovered (<i>p</i> < .001, 95% CI does not contain zero). Results indicated that individuals with a higher SSS experienced lower depression. Moreover, during a depressive episode, having a higher level of SC increases CSB.
