The proportions of Th1, Th2, Th17, and Treg cells in the submandibular lymph nodes, peripheral blood, and jaw bone marrow were tested using flow cytometry.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>More inflammatory cells and alveolar bone resorption were found in the periodontitis group, with upregulated mRNA expression of IFN-γ, IL-17, and IL-10.
