Experimentally, polarization analysed photons from the Li I - transition are detected in coincidence with scattered Li neutrals in the 1-25 keV impact energy range. Over most of this range, we find good agreement with 26- and 35-state atomic orbital (AO) basis coupled-channel calculations, as well as with 28-state molecular orbital (MO) basis predictions.
