Kontribusi perempuan “Ngojur” terhadap ekonomi rumah tangga di Desa Banyusangka, Kabupaten Bangkalan

Banyusangka Village is one of the largest prisoner fishery product areas in Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency. During the last three years, poverty in the Bangkalan Regency has increased due to the Ngojur mores in the area. Ngojur is a custom that is made a profession by coastal women by begging for fish products from fishermen and the fish obtained are sold to the market to earn income. This study aims to determine how significant Ngojur women contribute to family income and how long Ngojur women work in productive, domestic, and social activities. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive quantitative using a simple tabulated mathematical formula. This research results show that ngojur women contribute to the family income by 34 percent. The average working time for productive activities is 6 hours or 25 percent, domestic activities are 5.54 hours or 23 percent, and social activities are 2.18 or 9 percent.
