This study emphasizes more on the qualitative aspects. Environmental impact mitigation studies due to airport operations are carried out by looking at factors such as pollution level (air, water, and sound) and environmental fragmentation due to airport construction and operation. This paper focuses on aspects that correspond to wildlife hazards to airport operation areas, such as bird strikes. The identified threats are then followed up by proposing mitigation actions expected to reduce the impacts on both sides.
