The serum homocysteine and plasma D-dimer were detected in both groups, and the results were compared between the two groups and within the study group (before and after treatment). \n \n \nResults \nThe serum homocysteine and plasma D-dimer levels in study group were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). Levels and clinical significance of homocysteine in serum and D-dimer in plasma of patients with non-small cell lung cancer
Objective
To investigate the levels and clinical significance of homocysteine in serum and D-dimer in plasma of patients with non-small cell lung cancer .
Methods
A total of 126 patients with non-small cell lung cancer who were admitted to Shanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital from June 2016 to July 2019 were selected as the study group, another 126 healthy people who came to hospital for physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. The serum homocysteine and plasma D-dimer were detected in both groups, and the results were compared between the two groups and within the study group (before and after treatment).
Results
The serum homocysteine and plasma D-dimer levels in study group were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). In study group, the serum homocysteine and plasma D-dimer levels after treatment were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05).
Conclusions
Serum homocysteine and plasma D-dimer levels can be used as the main reference in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer.
