This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. This research was conducted at SDN 07 Parak Juar Batusangkar. The students in class I consist of 30 people, so the sampling used is purposive sampling. The data collection instrument in this study was the researcher himself (human instrument). With data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques that have been collected in this study, consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study were obtained that learning difficulties faced by students, namely students did not know and were able to memorize all the letters of the alphabet so that reading difficulties were caused by internal and external factors. Internal factors are physical factors, interests, and motivation. While external factors are from the teacher due to ineffective classroom management and curriculum that used by school can’t applied well, then factors from family is the lack of support for children at home. 摘要

本研究的目的是分析学生在阅读技能方面的学习困难问题。本研究采用定性描述性研究类型。这项研究是在Parak Juar Batusangkar SDN 07进行的。I班的学生有30人,所以使用的抽样是有目的抽样。本研究的数据收集工具为研究者本人(human instrument)。以观察、访谈和记录的形式收集数据。本研究收集的数据分析技术包括数据收集、数据简化、数据呈现和结论。研究得出学生所面临的学习困难,即学生不认识并且能够记住字母表中的所有字母,从而导致阅读困难是由内部和外部因素造成的。内部因素包括物理因素、兴趣和动机。外部因素是由于教师课堂管理不力和学校使用的课程不能很好地应用,而来自家庭的因素是缺乏对孩子在家的支持。本研究得出的结论是,造成小学一年级学生学习困难的因素是还不能识别字母,还不能区分字母,在阅读时仍然感到困惑和错误。
