La influencia de la figura y el contenido semántico en tareas silogísticas

espanolSe presentan dos experimentos con tareas de razonamiento silogistico que investigan la influencia del contenido semantica (materiales de identidad y materiales de inclusion) y la figura (figura 1 versus figura 2) durante la fase de comprension de las premisas y la fase inferencial. El experimento 1 nos muestra que en una tarea de evaluacion silogistica en la que se registraron tiempos de lectura, la figura del silogismo y el contenido afectan a la representacion que hacen los sujetos de las premisas durante su comprension. Asimismo, en el experimento 2 utilizando una tarea de construccion encontramos que la figura y el contenido afectan el proceso inferencial. Estos resultados se explican en terminos de modelos mentales (Johnson-Laird y Byrne. 1991). EnglishWe present two experiments using syllogistic reasoning tasks in order to investigate the influence of semantic content (identity materials and inclusive materials) and the figure (figure 1 and figure 2) during the comprehension stage of the premises and the ineference stage. Experiment 1 shows, in an evaluation task in which we recorded the reading time, that the figure and the content affect the representation of the premises during the comprehension stage. Experiment 2 shows in a construction task, that both the figure and the content affect the inference stage. These results are explained in terms of the mental models theory (Johnson-Laird and Byrne, 1991).
