In the present work cyclic test was conducted on exterior beam-column joint made with slag based geopolymer after exposing the specimens to natural fire. Further, mechanical properties of reinforcement embedded in fire exposed specimen were also determined and analysed. Cyclic test results indicated that deterioration of geopolymer and rebar alter the failure pattern of fire exposed specimen from desired beam end hinging to joint shear failure.
