Prepared six gel formulations of clotrimazole were evaluated for pH, Viscosity, Drug content, Drug diffusion studies, and Drug release kinetic studies. The Drug-polymer compatibility reports have been done by FTIR absences of extraneous interactions among excipients. CTZGF4 releases 99.53% of the drug at the end of 8 hours and was considered as the best formulation.
