The author found that in general, people will translate geographical names by transliterating for specific parts of the name, and paraphrasing for generic names. Processing of vowels and consonants has different characteristics in the transliteration process, which generally according to Chinese pronunciation habits. And some geographical names are translated directly into Chinese dialects. This contains a wealth of immigrant cultural information and dialect information, which can infer the general distribution of early Chinese immigrants in Indonesian settlements, guide significance for the study of Chinese society and culture. 摘要

本文通过对地名转换过程中印尼语和汉语语音的对比分析,探讨印尼语地名的汉语音译方式,以规范印尼语地名的中文正确翻译。笔者发现,一般情况下,人们在翻译地名时会对地名的特定部分进行音译,对地名的通用部分进行释义。元音和辅音在音译过程中的处理有不同的特点,一般根据汉语的发音习惯。有些地名被直接翻译成汉语方言。其中包含了丰富的移民文化信息和方言信息,可以推断早期中国移民在印尼聚落的总体分布,对研究中国社会文化具有指导意义。此外,不同历史时期印尼地名的中文音译名称也会发生变化。
