Physical activity has been shown to be safe in rheumatic disease. Besides, its positive effects on pain, function and health-related quality of life, physical activity has been shown to improve most of the canonical comorbidities in the general population <em>(i.e</em>. cardiovascular diseases, infections and cancer) but also chronic pain-related comorbidities such as fibromyalgia, anxiety or sleep disorders.
