摘要

指数级的人口增长、前所未有的城市化和不断变化的生活方式导致了城市固体废物的大量产生。大约只有20%的垃圾被处理,剩下的80%被倾倒到垃圾填埋场。德里的人均城市固体废物产生量最高,巴尔斯瓦、加兹普尔和奥克拉的垃圾填埋场约有2800万吨垃圾。这种废物具有很高的热值,有很大的潜力转化为堆肥和能源供人类使用。迫切需要找到可持续的解决办法和适当的技术,以便更好地管理废物并从废物中产生能源。本文的目的是表征废物和分析来自南德里的城市固体废物的废物发电潜力
