From this perspective, this article aimed to determine the roles of the Interactive Multimedia Tools (IMT) used by the preschool teachers of some educational institutions that belong to the municipality of Santa Marta – Colombia. To achieve this, methodologically, the study does a positivist approach, with a descriptive research type and a not experimental field design. As for the population under study, it comprises 38 pre-school teachers from educational institutions belonging to the commune. As regards data collection technique, it was used the survey observation and the instrument was the questionnaire.
