European workshop on industrial computer systems (EWICS)

The European Workshop on Industrial Computer System is composed of a group of practicing professional engineers, scientists and educators dedicated to the development of standards and guidelines for use with industrial computer systems. Their work is currently organised through ten technical committees. The Workshop collaborates with standards bodies in the setting up of standards and collaborates with a range of other bodies in order to organise conferences and workshops in order to promulgate both its work and the message that standards are essential if progress is to be made.
