Research on the operation efficiency of major airports in Asia based on the combined evaluation method
This paper uses the combined evaluation method to evaluate the operation efficiency of major airports in Asia to study the efficiency of airport operations of its content and influencing factors. The paper establishes the evaluation index system to evaluate the efficiency of airport operations, uses the combined weighting method to determine the index weight of all layers and analyzes empirically the operation efficiencies of the major hub airports in Asia in 2007. Results show that in 2007 the rank of Asia's major airport operation efficiencies is as follows: Hong Kong, Narita, Changi, Shenzhen, Incheon, Beijing, Guangzhou and Pudong. The evaluation result can objectively reflect the overall level of the airports' operation efficiencies and thus the evaluation methods are scientific and reasonable.
