Large population of phytoplankton is thriving in this wetland which enhances its productivity. A Total of 36 phytoplanktonic genera were identified in the present study. Bacillariophyceae include 15 genera, chlorophyceae include 10 genera, myxophyceae include 7 genera and desmidiaceae include 4 genera. In River Bhagirathi the overall total density fluctuates from 4.0 ± 1.41 Unit l-1 (October) to 179.0 ± 26.87 Unit l-1 (November). 摘要
浮游植物是各种水生生物的初级生产者和食物,也是水质的有效生物指示物,因此对浮游植物的研究具有重要意义。大量的浮游植物在这片湿地上繁衍生息,提高了湿地的生产力。本研究共鉴定了36个浮游植物属。硅藻科有15个属,绿藻科有10个属,粘藻科有7个属,菊科有4个属。巴吉拉提河总密度在10月(4.0±1.41)至11月(179.0±26.87)之间波动。季节总密度变化范围从S1站点最小的77.67±6.81 Unit l-1(季风)到S2站点最大的168.6±53.29 Unit l-1(冬季)。
