A 60-GHz wideband dielectric resonator antenna with inclined radiation
A wideband strip-line-fed dielectric resonator antenna is proposed for the 60-GHz UWB communication. The antenna achieves an bandwidth of ~15%, which is sufficient to covering the 60-GHz band, and provides a stable inclined radiation pattern, with a gain of 7.1±0.3 dBi over the entire operating bandwidth. Moreover, this antenna owns a simple structure and easy to integrate with MMICs. It is very suitable for the portable device applications.
